happy people are happy ;)

at office’s elevator…

colleague (c): hi annisa, are you going back home?
me (m): yes
c: where do you live?
m: bekasi. do you know where it is?
c: hmm no idea. jakarta is a big city
m: it’s outside jakarta, actually
c: how far is it from here?
m: around 25 km maybe
c: whattt?! is it as far as bogor?
m: yeah, sort of
c: how long does it take? 2 hours?
m: umm 1.5 to 2 hours
c: crazyyy. you spent 4 hours on the road everyday. I guess you don’t have time to do anything else besides work and commuting
m: hahaha
m: If I’m arrived at home, I just go to sleep, wake up and go to office again. every working days. crazy, right?
c: so, you don’t have time to meet your bf then?
m: on weekend or holiday, like tomorrow! yeay…!
c: hahaha
c: sometimes I wonder why Indonesian people tend to look so happy even though their home is far and the traffic is crazy, so different with Chinese people.
c: that’s ridiculous!

Ahahaha bener juga sih kalo dipikir-pikir. Is it in the blood?

Kalo kata pacar saya sih, stupid people are the happiest one.

Berdasarkan report apa gitu dulu juga Indonesia masuk ke salah satu happiest people kan ya? Padahal hidupnya ya gini deh. Jalanan macet, sistem transportasi buruk, internetnya lambat, acaranya TV-nya jarang yang bagus, pemimpinnya korup, kalo hujan banjir, kalo panas gosong. :))

Kalau diperhatikan, setiap ditanya kabar, seringkali 87.3% orang Indonesia menjawab baik. (halah statistik ngasal) Entah bermaksud sopan, segan untuk memberikan kabar buruk, atau emang males untuk jelasin lebih lanjut ya? Hahaha

Jadi, kemarin ini stumbling upon the internet dan nemu artikel ini: 55 National Stereotypes that will Ruin or Make your Day

Katanya sih orang Indonesia ituuu:

Indonesians – fearful; neurotic; extroverted; conscientious; warm and friendly people; lazy; live for today – who cares about tomorrow; no planners; religious; family-oriented; supportive; invented the rubber-time/rarely on time; corrupt; superstitious; slow; inferior; polite; lacking discipline; use feeling not logic; do not follow rules; hypocritical; resistant to change; tolerant; low profile; unwilling to confront or give ‘bad news’; silent in meetings; can’t swim.

Yeah right… Lumayan bener sih, tapi asa banyakan negatifnya yah. Hahaha

Jadi, apa dong yang juara di Indonesia?
YA MAKANANNYA LAH! :9

BTW, ini ada link 18 Delicious Breakfasts From Around The World dan video berikut:

Kalo diliat, sarapan orang luar sehat sehat ya.
Kalo di sini kan sarapan makannya nasi goreng, nasi kuning, nasi uduk, bubur ayam pake usus pake ati ampela pake telur puyuh, lontong sayur, apalagi lontong sayur padang atau medan.
Such carbo, such santan, such telor puyuh, many cholesterol.
Tapi.., umm super yummy! Dari pagi aja udah dikasi makanan enak enak, gimana ga happy cobaaa.

Yes, we eat telur puyuh and jeroan, because YOLO, you only live once.
Live long happiest people! :))

  1. kenapa definisi yg terakhir: can’t swim? hahaha.
Kalo saya, alhamdulillah sarapannya keluarga sudah sehat, mas: less sugar, less carbo, more protein and vitamin, no santan, no telur puyuh, no cholesterol, hehe…
